Psycho IV: The Beginning (1990)

Just noticed that this one was just released last week... albeit in one of those lame "triple-feature" discs, along with Parts 2 & 3. rolleyes.gif

A couple films mentioned earlier in this thread are finally getting a release....

- Curse of the Mummy's Tomb (1964, Michael Carreras)
- The Gorgon (1964, Terence Fisher)

They're being released as part of the Hammer Films: Icons of Horror collection on October 14th, along with The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll and Taste of Fear. smile.gif

Pure Luck ..starring Danny Glover and Martin Short
Moving ...starring Richard Pryor ....standalone copy, I know there's a double feature out

I just ordered 2 titles from Amazon's UK site that I've given up on seeing in region 1: The African Queen & A Matter of Life and Death. I've wanted to pick up AQ for a few years and I've been on a Powell & Pressburger kick lately so I thought I'd continue that with A Matter of Life & Death.

DaDVDman...if you're region free you can knock a couple of your items off your list. Ally McBeal has a release in England. I have the first 3 seasons. You can also get an anamorphic Doc Hollywood which I also have.

The Legend of Billie Jean (1985)

This is my most wanted dvd right now.

Don't know if anyone's ever seen it, but TBS once aired an extended cut of Stephen King's NEEDFUL THINGS, and it was a vast improvement over the theatrical cut, which I also enjoyed. The extended cut really fleshed out the characters...

I still wish for a day when we get to actually see Clive Barker's intended cut of NIGHT BREED. The theatrical cut has studio interference written over nearly every frame. Glimmers of greatness in that one, I think...what a shame.

Night Breed did seem like it could have been good, but I pretty much hated it how it was.

I'd like to see a DVD edition of the 143-minute extended TV version of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I used to own it on VHS and there were some significant differences from the current 136-minute "director's edition":

Wow, that brings back some childhood memories. I completely forgot about that movie.
Mike.
Does anyone know of an re-issue of HIDING OUT (1987)? I know it's been released on DVD a few years back, but it's now OOP.
