Curtains (1983) - classic 80's slasher flick, this one is Canadian I believe.
Curse of the Mummy's Tomb (1964) - the 2nd entry in Hammer's mummy trilogy (the first being 1959's The Mummy, and the third being 1967's The Mummy's Shroud, both of which have been out on DVD for a long time).
Alligator (1980) - classic 80's "killer animal" movie, directed by Lewis Teague. (also in need of a DVD release is the sequel, Alligator II: The Mutation).
Animal World (1956) - a nature documentary directed by Irwin Allen, featuring a segment by FX legend Ray Harryhausen.
The 27th Day (1957) - 50's science fiction film, again featuring FX by Ray Harryhausen.
Amazing Shocking Asia (1998) - nasty shockumentary along similar lines as Mondo Cane and Faces of Death.
Battle Royale (2000) - there are several DVDs of this movie out there already, but we really need an "official" R1 release.
Black Past (1989) - obscure, low-budget German horror flick.
Blood Beach (1981) - cheesy 80's horror.... can't get enough of that on DVD, am I right?
Beyond the Limits (2003) - more gory German horror, from the same director as Black Past.
Cat in the Brain (1990) - this gory Lucio Fulci flick has been in production limbo for what seems like forever.... get your act together, Image Entertainment!
Cruising (1980) - crime drama directed by William Friedkin, starring Al Pacino.
The Cure for Insomnia (1987) - it'll probably never happen, but I'm including this on the list just because I think it would be interesting to see how they'd go about putting the longest film in history onto DVD. (How many discs do you think it would take for an 87-hour film?)
La Gabbia (1985) - sleazy Italian drama, co-written by Lucio Fulci. (also known as Collector's Item and Dead Fright).
Deadly Mantis (1957) - another 50's "attack of the giant insect" B-movie. Gotta love these!
Death Scenes (1989) - more sick, twisted footage of death and suffering for the Faces of Death crowd. (Followed by 2 sequels... maybe we could get a box set?)
Eddie Murphy: Delirious (1983) - we've already got Raw on DVD, why not this one too?
Ebola Syndrome (1996) - it would be great to have this gory Asian horror flick on DVD, but apparently the original uncut film no longer exists.... all existing prints are heavily censored.
Fantom Kiler (1998) - sleazy Polish horror flick about a serial killer stalking and murdering women. (followed by 2 sequels).
Faces of Gore (1999) - yet another Faces of Death clone for us sickos.
From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga (1985) - excellent documentary about the original trilogy, narrated by Mark Hamill himself.... a definite must-see for Star Wars fanatics.
Godzilla 1985 (1984) - one of the last few Godzilla films that's still missing in action on DVD.
Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989) - another Godzilla film that needs a DVD release.
The Giant Behemoth (1959) - more 50's giant monster sci-fi. Cheesy but I love it!
Howling VII: New Moon Rising (1995) - this is the only entry in the Howling series not yet on DVD in R1.
Island of the Fishmen (1979) - Italian horror film directed by Sergio Martino, which featured the immortal tagline: "You will actually see someone turned inside out!" (but you never do).
Ilsa, Tigress of Siberia (1977) - this is the only entry in the Ilsa series that's not yet on DVD. (Dyanne Thorne has such a great set of.... uhh.... eyes)
Ken Park (2002) - Larry Clark's drama has several DVD editions released in other countries, but none yet for us North American folk.
Jaws: The Revenge (1987) - yes, I know, it's already got a R1 release.... but I want the television version! (The one with the "ridiculous-but-not-quite-as-ridiculous-as-the-theatrical-version" ending.)
Let It Be (1970) - someone needs to do the world a favour and get this classic Beatles film on DVD, and soon!!
Lucker the Necrophagus (1986) - cult horror flick from Belgium.
The Lawnmower Man (1992) - again, yes I know this is technically already on DVD, but it's only the theatrical version.... I want the full 140 minute director's cut! (It's totally inexcusable that the current DVD isn't the director's cut... I even had it on VHS, so it's not like they couldn't transfer it over to disc).
Men Behind the Sun 2 (1992) - also known as Laboratory of the Devil and Unit 731, it's the sequel to the nasty Asian horror film.
Mothra (1961) - the first film to feature the infamous Mothra, who would later go on to co-star in several of the Godzilla series, and 3 sequels of its very own (Rebirth of Mothra 1, 2, and 3).
My Life for Ireland (1941) - controversial Nazi propaganda fillm, made infamous for including actual footage of several actors accidentally being killed by live land mines.
Night of the Ghoul (1975) - British horror film starring Peter Cushing and John Hurt, directed by Freddie Francis.
One Million B.C. (1940) - a prehistoric adventure, later remade as One Million Years B.C. with Raquel Welch.
The Old Gun (1975) - I don't even remember why this drama/war film is on my list... someone must have recommended it to me at some point.
Pink Floyd: Delicate Sound of Thunder (1988) - now that we've finally got the Pulse concert on DVD, it would be nice to have this classic concert too!
Quatermass Xperiment (1955) - the first of 4 entries in Hammer's Quatermass series. (it was followed by 1957's Quatermass 2 and 1967's Quatermass and the Pit, both of which are already available on DVD).
Quatermass Conclusion (1979) - as the title implies, this is the last entry in Hammer's Quatermass quadrilogy. Give us Parts 1 & 4 so we can complete the series!
Return of the Living Dead Part 3 (1993) - although it technically is already available on DVD, it's in desperate need of a re-release, as the current DVD is edited to the point of butchery.
Rituals (1977) - an obscure Canadian slasher flick, set in the wilderness.
Shadow Conspiracy (1997) - there was a DVD release planned for this George Cosmatos thriller, but for some reason it was cancelled. It's got Charlie Sheen, Donald Sutherland, and Linda Hamilton!
Terror in the Aisles (1984) - a classic horror documentary featuring clips from over 75 horror and sci-fi movies.
Through the Looking Glass (1976) - a strange mix of adult hardcore, drama, and horror.
Thundercrack (1975) - another bizarre combination of horror and hardcore.
The Town That Dreaded Sundown - fairly obscure mystery/horror/thriller.
Threads (1984) - an extremely disturbing and chilling film about nuclear war. I remember being shown it in class in highschool, and it creeped me out. Probably the most frightening nuclear war film next to The Day After.
Traces of Death (1993) - you guessed it, another Faces of Death clone.... 5 films in this particular series. (There is technically already a DVD set of these films, but it's so rare and obscure that it might as well not exist).
Video Dead (1987) - classic 80's zombie flick... I think it's safe to say that you can never have too many of these on DVD.
Wild Beasts (1984) - Italian "animals gone crazy" horror film set inside a zoo.... directed by one of the dudes who did the Mondo Cane series.
When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth (1970) - British sci-fi fantasy adventure, directed by Val Guest.
EDIT:
Plus there are these bunch of DVDs that seem to be in production limbo..... they've been listed in the database as "not announced" for ages and ages!! Why don't these companies get off their arses and release these DVDs already??
